Last January 11th, Koakuma is honored to attend an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session at M.M. Labs’s community.

What did Agnes our business manager say and what questions did the audience ask about Koakuma? This is the hard-working Koakuma N0.2 reporting from the scene.

Agenda #1: Project and Guest Introduction

Q1. Please tell us about the team behind the project, team experience, history, experience?

Miyo | Koakuma:

Our team comes from game development companies.In order to ensure that we can provide players with a smooth and rich game experience, we have hired many experts with many years of game development experience to make this game

We have almost 20 members including 2D artist, 3D artist, Modeler, Musician, Special Effect Artist, Action Artist, Game Designer, Programmer, Editors..

We will do our best to bring players a high-quality gaming experience

Q2. There are countless games launched on a daily basis, what is so good about Koakuma?

Miyo| Koakuma:

1.We have an experienced game development team, which can ensure that we provide players with an interesting and rich game experience. We think this is crucial in the next stage of Gamefi competition.

2.We are proud of our graphics and combat system which is immersive to attract new players. User base is always a key point for a successful game.

3.Our game IP is completely original, which means that when users accept our role and IP, they will have a strong sense of belonging.

4.MMO ARPG has strong user stickiness, which fits well with the social interaction emphasized by Metaverse

These are advantages we different from other projects.

Q3. What is the vision?

Miyo | Koakuma:

Our vision is to make a completely decentralized autonomous MMO ARPG game in the metaverse.

It is an extremely difficult thing to make it happen. It needs a robust infrastructure to ensure that the entire Metaverse system can run smoothly. It needs a solid worldview structure, interesting and rich gameplay that players can really immerse themselves in. It needs a team of people who are fully committed to seeing this as a career and a strong community who are closely aligned to create it together. Finally, a robust system of self-governance is needed to ensure that the world can run consistently and steadily.

If someone is willing to do it, then they must be technical geeks, a group of people who are passionate about games.

In order to achieve this goal, we need to break the barriers between traditional games and blockchain games, and bring fun blockchain games out of this small circle and present them to a wider range of players.

This is our dream, to create a fantasy continent and run eternally and steadily in the Metaverse. We are willing to move forward without hesitation in order to build this Utopia.

Q4.The token will eventually be both on BSC and Solana, please explain this strategic move?

Miyo | Koakuma:

We consider BSC because of their large user base, but it’s not very suitable for game projects.

There will be various interactions with contract in our game such as upgrading equipment, forging weapons, breeding pets, trading in marketplace, etc.

It’s very important for a game project to ensure the user experience, no one expects to wait for 2 seconds for every action to be made.

So chains like Solana maybe a good choice for games because of its faster transaction speed and lower fees.

Q5. When is your IDO and when are we expecting the game to be launched? What are the activities in between the IDO and the actual game launch?

Miyo | Koakuma:

Not directly launched, after IDO we have some interesting plans.Such as selling our NFT and we’ll do lots of marketing activities to make more and more people become our users.

Our mini game is ready and we are choosing a good time to release it.

Currently, we are still developing the game and the CBT(close beta testing) version will be released in Q1.

If everything goes well, we will release OBT(open beta tesing) in Q2 which will include a complete ecosystem, gameplay, token, nft, utilities, etc.

In the few years after the release of the game, we will create more contents for users and keep updating the game for a long-term.

Q6.Eventually the plan is to roll it out on Mobile, Android and IOS?

Miyo | Koakuma:

We will focus on PC and develop it first. Do our best to ensure the quality of the game.

We’ll upgrade quickly and when the game quality reaches our standard, we’ll let more people work on the development of Mobile.

Q7. Please run us over game token model and utility

Miyo | Koakuma:

For players: $KKMA will be required as the primary form of in-game currency. Players will need KKMA to pay for upgrading, forging, enchantment, smelting skill runes, marketplace purchases, and more. Additionally, the “Koakuma Treasury” will eventually buy and burn KKMA, making it naturally deflationary as the ecosystem grows.

For holders:$KKMA will eventually provide holders with the opportunity to actively participate in the future direction of the game! The project will slowly and safely shift from an initial “chaperoned” structure to a fully decentralized online game. KKMA holders will be able to

participate in governance voting in the future as part of an upcoming DAO, allowing them to shape the future of Koakumaverse.

Q8.Can you tell us about the roadmap, what stage you are at with the project, and what the community can look for in the upcoming months and 2022?

Miyo | Koakuma:

We have four stages.The first stage mainly is Art Design Concepts /Social Media Presence/ Seed Sale.

Now we are in the second stage and we’ll IDO in February then start our first NFT sale.

In the 3th stage, we’ll start our public sale and launch $KKMA token.

The last stage is launching $BOD token and we have a big MMO world. We’ll release OBT for players who look forward to our game~

Q9.And last what would you like to tell the KOAKUMA community and our viewers and game fans?

Miyo | Koakuma:

Koakuma is just the beginning. In the future, we will develop more games.

These games will be different types and become a complete world. Players can use and trade $KKMA in all of our games.

We will do our best to bring players a high-quality gaming experience.

Agenda #2: Live Questions

Q1:Does the bear market scare you? Did you do adequate planning to ensure you can keep going and not run out of funds? Because many projects do die during bear market

Miyo | Koakuma:

We all hate bear markets, but we are not afraid of them.

Koakuma is positioned as a long-term project, which means it is bound to go through multiple bull-bear cycles.

In a bull market, we can find funds more easily, but in a long bear market, most investors will remain cautious, and new projects will be less and less. In other words, this is also our opportunity.

What we need to do is to plan our fund well, and then work hard to develop the project so that it is ready for the next bull market!

Q2:Why build on one chain and then add Solana?Why not just build on Solana right away?Would that not be easier?

Miyo | Koakuma:

BSC is the one of the Ethereum, and the development language used is Solidity, which means that when BSC is ready, we can more easily adapt to the chains of many other Ethereum systems in the future.

And because developers are already very familiar with Ethereum, the development cost will be relatively lower. At the same time, BSC has a wide user base, which is of great help to our early publicity and promotion.

Q3:I see you do not have many partnerships and a lot of backers at the moment?Is that something you are actively working on?

Miyo| Koakuma:

Our current notable investors and partners include Roseon, Lavender, AVG, ScottyBeam.

Launchpad has also been confirmed: Roseonpad, Enjinstarter and OxBull

While we are developing the game, we are financing at the same time.

Since the current market is not very ideal, we don’t want to be too anxious because we don’t want to freeze everyone’s funds for too long.

Q4:How did you come up with the name of the project?

Miyo | Koakuma:

Koakuma means “little devil” in Japan. It symbolizes mystery and playfulness. We hope our project brings as much joy as this name.

Q5:what is your marketing strategy at the moment? Or is there an marketing effort?

Miyo | Koakuma:

In Phase one, our main objectives are to expand existing social media and communities , let the player know the background and gameplay and increase marketing channels.

In phase two, we want ratings and opening the presale mechanism for users. Publish player co-creation rules.Build Koakuma core Player community. Enhance Koakuma information diffusion capability.

In phase three, these are our main objectives, Explosive growth of players, active sharing . Connected in-game and out-of-game trading market . Form a player cluster by country/region.

We will have more AMAs before our launch to let everyone know about development updates and other interesting features about us.
