AMA RECAP — Koakuma x Roseon Finance (Vietnamese Community)
Last Friday, 25th February, Koakuma has been invited again to conduct an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session at Roseon Finance. This time, it presented the project to the Vietnamese community who are some of the most active GameFi and Metaverse communities.
Koakuma is being represented by its Business Development Manager, Mr. Lance.
Agenda #1: Project and Guest Introduction
(Q1.) What is KOAKUMA? Can you share more details about the project?
Lance: Koakuma is a medieval fantasy 3D MMOARPG. Its goal is to create a complete medieval fantasy world experience, where all the characters are animals, and where players can venture, socialize, trade, or develop a town as a lord.
It is a F2P & P2E GameFi 2.0 project packed with lots to explore, earn and designed for users all around the world where players fight in epic battles using specially designed NFT assets.
Players have a lot of chances to earn and it is inclusive to players with different skill sets and levels of experience.
(Q2.) Does KOAKUMA have any outstanding features compared to other projects?
Lance: While there are many MMO RPG projects, Koakuma is an ARPG with much stronger graphics quality and gameplay dynamics including richer and smoother combat experience.
Here are some awesome features of Koakuma:
1. Exploring — players can explore countless dungeons for token and NFT rewards.
2. Collecting — each equipment in the game is an NFT and you collect the most suitable equipment to make you stronger.
3. Gathering — There are abundant wild resources in the game, such as rare ores and precious herbs. Players can sell these resources or make specific items.
4. Battling — Players can compete with other players one-on-one in the ladder event or form a unique team with their friends to challenge other teams.
5. Crafting — Players can process resources to potions, weapons, and accessories.
6. Koakumaverse — Laria is a vast and fascinating continent. A lot of surprises are waiting for the players.
(Q3.) Can you share more about the KKMA token and the mechanism of Tokenomic?
Lance: You can earn two types of tokens in the game: Governance Tokens and Circulation Tokens.
$BOD (trade token) is responsible for daily in-game consumption, such as purchasing items, learning skills, and making items to improve their abilities. These tokens are the gameplay outputs of the in-game PVE.
$KKMA (governance token) is responsible for critical use, such as equipment enhancement reaching high level will cost the KKMA. Because the higher the enhancement level, the higher the value of the equipment, the higher the price when the player puts it into the market. These tokens are produced in small amounts through game PVP, and more need to be purchased.
Token output and consumption have diverse ways, ensuring consumption is slightly higher than output. The tokens consumed are recycled and then released into the game through proportional control to ensure the value of tokens.
DAO can dynamically control the production and consumption of in-game tokens. Ensure that tokens do not fluctuate greatly.
(Q4.) If you could describe KOAKUMA in one word, what word would you choose? And why?
Lance: Endless. Endless treasures; Endless fun; Endless possibilities. We have the DAO system so players will determine the direction of the game, which is unknown and meaningful.
Rather than creating something predictable and repetitive, our goal for Koakuma’s players is to
have endless meaningful experiences playing the game with their friends and family.
Agenda #2: Twitter Questions
(Q1.) Koakuma is NFT gaming. But in terms of community, there is still a large audience in the gaming world that has yet to meet the crypto and industry. What are your plans to reach these people and make your voice heard by all gamers?
Lance: We started setting up local communities such as Discord, Twitter, Medium and more to get future players to talk and get excited about the game.
We are strategic in our partnerships. We handpick the KOLs we work with to make sure they pass our standards and have the audience we want to target. We are doing a localized approach in terms of promoting the game in TG groups.
Before IDO, we will have two campaigns for initial players. These campaigns will give away our whitelist and limited edition NFTs which can be used in our game. Besides campaigns, we also have several rounds of giveaways to attract more players.
(Q2.) A common problem is that nowadays most investors are only interested in initial profits and ignore long-term benefits! So can you give them some reasons why they should buy and hold your tokens in the long term?
Lance: We see Koakuma as a long term project and it’s very important for us to sustain and grow its user base.
To ensure this, we made sure to partner with the right people that share our vision and also have a good track record in working on projects like ours.
(Q3.) What advantages does your floor have over other projects, do you think security and/or technology is its most important advantage or does it have any other outstanding advantages; Would you like to tell us why choose YOUR TRADE over any other project?
Lance: Unlike most recent NFT gaming projects, Koakuma has much stronger graphics quality and gameplay dynamics including richer and smoother combat experience. We chose our trade because we noticed that there’s a gap in quality and game focused P2E GameFi projects. Most of the P2E projects we see in the market are not built for gamers.
It is not engaging enough for players to keep playing and so it’s prone to dumping, especially when the market is bearish. We know that our gameplay encourages long term participation and would be the new standard for P2E projects. We believe that gamers are loyal and if we get their support the crypto side of things will run organically.
(Q4.) Currently, @Koakuma_Game projects are in great demand by many people, especially Play to Earn. But what happens if the game era will experience a decline in enthusiasts as there are projects in new fields in the future. what is your strategy if this happens?
Lance: We have the DAO system so players will determine the direction of the game, which is unknown and meaningful. This allows players to suggest and bring in fresh ideas that will keep the game relevant.
(Q5.) Since NFT is popular nowadays, is there a plan for NFT integration?
Lance: Yes, there is NFT integration.
Equipment is most important. Our equipment and runes are NFT assets. Attributes are randomized. Rarity is something they will have to grind on. Then attributes. Players can combine equipment and re-randomize attributes to get their desired attribute for their equipment. There are also pets. Pet system. Players can catch Koakuma and then breed Koakuma which will cost our token $BODs. There are lots in store and we have a lot coming soon!
Agenda #3: Live Questions from the Community
(Q1.) Marketing is a central element for every project, so that everyone knows the potential that a project can bring is vital to achieve the goals set. What is your strategy to attract new users and Investor to your platform and keep them long term.
Lance: Our strategy to attract new users and investors to our platform and keep them long term is that we handpick the KOLs we work with to make sure they pass our standards and have the audience we want to target. We started setting up local communities such as Discord, Twitter, Medium and more to get future players to talk and get excited about the game.
(Q2.) Do you have any plan for burning tokens in the future to reduce the supply of the token and increase its investment attractiveness?
Lance: Yes, we have plans for burning and staking tokens.
Token output and consumption have diverse ways, ensuring consumption is slightly higher than output. The tokens consumed are recycled and then released into the game through proportional control to ensure the value of tokens. DAO can dynamically control the production and consumption of in-game tokens. This ensures that tokens do not fluctuate greatly.
(Q3.) Is your project a community only for English speaking an countries or for users not of other languages?
Lance: Our project is for everyone around the world. We are currently working on partnering with KOLs from different countries and communities to help us with the language and connecting with them. For example, we have groups and channels for China, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and many more. We are growing and working on this. We hope that you can be a part of our Koakumaverse!
